Recruiting Befrienders

Be a befriender to someone to help in any possible manner for them to develop. It may be language help, providing just a friendly ear, conversation companion, etc.

LINKnet can find someone for you to help. Please contact Cate at admin@linknetmentoring.com by email with your phone number. The help you extend will help your own development.

35-40 places are available. It is a hybrid service provision, either face-to-face or online depending on the needs of the befriendees. Some of the befriendees need English language development at low levels. Volunteers who can help in this regard are most welcome.

Our expectation is for you to either meet or talk online with your befriendee once a week 1 to 1.5 hours for about three months. After volunteering with us for three months, LINKnet could give you a good reference and/or volunteer certificate if you would like to have one.
