Building Brighter Futures Fund (BBFF)
Participants will attend every Tuesday and Wednesday 10am-2pm (tbc) for 8 weeks.
We reimburse travel and lunch money for each day attended, supply PPE for work placements and support participants to pay for their CSCS test and study materials.
Young people can gain:
- Industry recognised qualification in Manual Handling
- Revision, practice and booking of CSCS test
- SQA Employability award
- SQA level 3 core skills in reading, writing, speaking and listening
- Work experience in a wood recycling workshop
- Work placement with local construction company
- Support into next steps
Participants must be 16-21 to join the course and they must be able to self travel to Edinburgh city centre and Granton.
