Building Brighter Futures Fund

Building Brighter Futures Fund supports young people at Stage 2 of the employability pipeline with an interest in the Construction Industry. We offer support in gaining a CSCS card as well as SCQF 3 Core skills and Employability Award.

This is an 8-week course. Participants attend Tuesdays and Wednesdays 10-2pm.

What’s involved?

• Work experience in a Wood Recycling Workshop and with local Construction companies
• Support and funding to sit CSCS test and gain the CSCS card
• SQA level 3 Core Skills
• SQA level 3 employability award
• Confidence building through 1:1 support and group work opportunities
• Ongoing support after the 8 weeks if needed.

Bus and train travel and lunch money is reimbursed.
