The Edinburgh Guarantee
The Edinburgh Guarantee(this will open in a new window) is the public-facing employability brand across the City of Edinburgh for both job seekers and employers.
The Edinburgh Guarantee Jobs Boards(this will open in a new window) are a useful tool for the employability network to help support clients with:
- searching the latest vacancies with local and national organisations
- accessing apprenticeship opportunities
- an opportunity for providers to advertise their own internal vacancies
- supporting employers with links to advertising vacancies directly to local people.
The Jobs Boards are managed by an internal team within the City of Edinburgh Council who work closely with employers to ensure their vacancy postings are consistent with Fair Work Principles and in an accessible format.
As the public facing employability platform, the Edinburgh Guarantee website complements the provider-focused, Joined Up for Jobs Noticeboard(this will open in a new window) in sharing opportunities to ensure maximum reach to all local residents and an excellent tool for job seekers to self-manage and view the latest vacancies, as a tool to support clients with job searches and an advertising channel for any employers you may be engaging with.
The website also provides information on learning and training sessions and links for the public to access employability support.
The Edinburgh Guarantee Opportunities Bulletin(this will open in a new window) is emailed out weekly and provides a summary of all the current opportunities and can be a useful tool for action planning meetings with job seekers.
