The Poverty Alliance: Serving the Future of low-paid workers

The Fraser of Allander Institute and the Poverty Alliance are delighted to invite you to the online launch of a new Tourism and Hospitality Toolkit for employers and workers in the sector on 20th February 2025. In partnership with Skills Development Scotland and Springboard, the Serving the Future toolkit has been developed with sector bodies and workers to provide a range of practical resources, guidance and tools to support sustainability of the sector. The webinar will also include findings from Serving the Future – an action research project working with hospitality workers and employers to understand, reduce and prevent in-work poverty. As well as hearing directly about workers’ experiences, we will also reflect on the implications for policy changes that are required across Scotland to support people in low-paid work.

The webinar will be held on Zoom and will run from 10am until 11.15am on 20th February 2025.
