Young Person's Guarantee Team (Capital City Partnership)
As part of the Scottish Government's commitment to supporting all young people to access employment, volunteering, training or education, the YPG team are a central point of contact for young people across Edinburgh to learn about and access an opportunity suited to them.
Providers and young people can come to the YPG team for information, support and signposting to a range of opportunities across Edinburgh's Joined Up for Young People network.
We’ll connect young people with opportunities available through the JUfYP network.
Young people can be referred to us, and we will get in touch with them directly or arrange a meeting with the referral partner. We will then carry out an initial assessment, exploring the young person's goals and aspirations, whilst considering their health, wellbeing and cultural needs.
The young person will be given person centred options available to them and we will facilitate the onward referral process, and ensure aftercare follow up is available to those who requiring ongoing support.
