Parental Employability Support Service (The City of Edinburgh Council)
The PES team will help parents to access the support that they need to ensure they have the stability to focus on their employment goals. This will be carried out by creating an infrastructure of supported referrals to help remove barriers for parents around issues including money and benefits advice, housing, parenting and family support, health and wellbeing and employability. To identify the barriers and support required, every parent will work with a PES Officer to create an individual action plan and a parent profile.
This service will work in harmony with the external grant-funded Parental Employability Support projects and the wider JUFJ network, referring parents into these services for employability support but also providing additional support and referrals to parents using these services.
