BBFF Employability Programme (Move On)
Move On’s Employability course is designed to improve young people’s chances of employment in the construction sector or their chances of moving on to further training.
This is a 8-week employability programme for young people aged 16-21 years who are interested in gaining skills and qualifications in a wood workshop. The course is suitable for participants at stages 1 & 2 of the Strategic Skills Pipeline.
Participants will spend one day a week at our wood recycling centre gaining practical, on-the-job experience in a construction environment. The group will also send time in our Edinburgh Office to gain numerous SQA qualifications in core skills and employability as well as the chance to gain Emergency First Aid, Manual Handling & CSCS card.

The programme will be delivered at the Move On offices at & Bakehouse Close and at Move On Wood Recycling Project at New Broom Business Park, Granton. And runs throughout the year.
