Citadel Youth Centre NOLB Activity Agreement Hub (North East) (Citadel Youth Centre)
No One Left Behind Activity Agreements Hub – North East
No One Left Behind (NOLB) Activity Agreements support young people aged 15.5-19 (or up to age 26 for those with multiple barriers as stated in the NOLB Emerging Best Practice Guide) who are not in education, employment, or training.
Young people aged 15.5-19 (26 with additional barriers) attend our weekly Activity Agreement hub in Leith to get support with their move on to the next step in their life. We work closely with the young person to help them to decide what they need in order to move into an appropriate opportunity whether this is employment, education, training or voluntary work. Our weekly hub offers not only the support from competent staff but workshops and support with job applications, CV writing, interview preparation, as well as finding appropriate further training programmes.
Participants meet weekly at the hub and can access not only the use of the IT equipment, but more importantly, the competent and knowledgeable staff from the Citadel staff to the Activity Agreement advisor and SDS workers as well as volunteer and students. Support is provided in small groups or on an individual basis depending on their particular needs. Food and travel expenses are provided also as well as EMA for those eligible (please see below for further details or contact a 15+ staff member at the Citadel).
