Action for Children - Cashback: Positive Choices (Action for Children)
Our Cashback - Positive Choices programme is aimed at young people aged 15 – 24 who reside in Edinburgh and are looking to start their journey within the world of work.
This is an interactive and practical programme that is delivered from our training centre in Castlebrae Business Centre. As well as looking at personal development and employability skills participants will also work towards an SQA qualification.
The programme is 3 days per week for 5 weeks. Participants will be expected to attend from a Tuesday to a Thursday. The programme is aimed at stage 1 of the employability pipeline therefore suitable for those who are starting out on their journey into the world of work. As well as several practical activities participants can expect to complete SQA qualifications as well as building their skills and increasing their confidence.

This programme is aimed at young people aged 15-24 residing in Edinburgh. If participants are aged 15 they must be within 6 months of their school leaving date.
Other information
Participants will receive a training allowance of £33 per week as well as a bus pass.
Likely progression routes include transition onto a higher stage of programme, education or employment.
