Barnardo's No One Left Behind - Activity Agreement (Barnardos Works)
Barnardo’s No One Left Behind Acitivity Agreements support young people aged 15.5 - 19 (or up to age 26 for those who have multiple barriers) who are not in education, employment or training. We are Based at Ferry Road, but also have an office at Fort Kinnaird.
Barnardo's Activity Agreement work with young people aged 15.5 - 19 (or up to 26 with additional barriers) at stage 1 of the employability pipeline. When a referral is made, it is passed to ourselves. Referrals are made through activityagreements@edinburgh.gov.uk. Young people can also self refer to us. Young people will be offered 1-1 support and take part in a minimum of 4 hours activity a week, designed to help them build confidence and take steps to their chosen goals. This activity made include attending our weekly employability drop in. Young people will usually be supported on Acitvity agreement between 3 months and a year. If eligible, young people can apply for Education Maintenance Allowance of £30 a week.
